Mission/Purpose:

To oversee all fund raising activities of the church. These fundraisers supplement the pledge drive, offerings and other contributions received by the church. This helps the church to meet our annual budget as well as promote and build our sense of community.

The Ways & Means Committee is an operations committee, which means it handles an administrative function. The work of the committee is fulfilled through the following means:

Seeking to encourage our leadership to seek opportunities for spiritual and financial growth.
Identifying and supporting creative fund raising activities that see to build our sense of community as much as they provide funds.
Leading a well planned and executed policy to review and assist with fund raising ideas in accordance with GPT program guidelines.
Provide leadership and support of all major fund raising activities.
Encourage sound financial planning and discipline through the budgeting and reporting process.
Supplying financial oversight and support of the church treasurer.
